The Pakistan Economic Club (PEC) is a London-based non-profit, non-political forum dedicated to open and thoughtful discussions on the economic, policy and developmental challenges facing Pakistan.

The PEC began in 2015 as an informal discussion forum among Pakistani professionals working in emerging markets in the City of London. In time, the forum has broadened out to include academics, policy experts, and other senior leaders from the financial sector.

Objectives

To serve as a forum for frank and open debate on the macroeconomic, financial, policy and developmental challenges facing Pakistan.
To serve as a social and professional expert network of Pakistanis engaged in economic and policy analysis in the financial markets, academia, think-tanks and the private sector.
We aim to further the professional interests of Pakistanis in the field of economic and policy research, with particular focus on young professionals and women.
